Teaching
I believe teaching is a crucial way to increase people's awareness of languages and linguistics, and it helps theoretical linguistics achieve real world impact.
I have taught various undergraduate linguistics courses at KU and UCLA, either as a teaching assistant or as the primary instructor.
I won UCLA Linguistics Department's Distinguished Teaching Award in the 2020-2021 academic year.
